    Vocabulary Word Story-Reading Passage:
Juanitas CONFIDANT, a PERFIDIOUS brother with an ANECDOTE or two he likes to share, has shown no FIDUCIARY responsibility. He stole funds from her DOWRY and attempted to put her in a CLOISTER using a signed AFFIDAVIT. Her SECLUSION would have been absolute, and she would have had to endure life as a RECLUSE. No fact could OCCLUDE his miserable treachery. No one should CONDONE such conduct. Fearing possible EXTRADITION and PERDITION of his soul due to his illegal activities, Carlos searched for someone else he could dupe with a pretended DIFFIDENCE in behavior.
(note: PERDITION and DIFFIDENCE are additional words from the same roots, but they are not part of the 12 tested words!)
